I have a Model 25-2 also. I have nearly shortened it to 4" several times. Fortunately, a 4", ACP revolver comes along and saves it!

I'll play....double Holiday gun

Man o man, some real beauties shown above! Santa and Cupid both evidently love that Model 25-2 (especially if you got a BMT loader in your stocking).

Mine is a real treat to shoot 45 ACP in full moons. Love to load 15 to 20 full moons with the BMT at home before hitting the range, so as all time at the range is shooting and enjoying.

Mine shipped on Valentines Day, 1972 to Service Armament Co. Ridgefield, NJ per LOA.

Keep on shootin these beauties.

Zombie thread "updates"

After posting this morning I realized that although this is a 5 year old zombie thread....the subject and intent never grows old..so I say...keep em coming!

Great pics, great guns, great stories...ya gotta love this Forum.

Years ago before I concentrated on Model 29s I had a few 25s. Extremely accurate and mild shooting, they became my favorite shooters

A 25-2 was on my 'grail list' for quite awhile until I got one from a forum member here, near perfect shape. Has the older 6.5" barrel.

Like me, you may grow bored with it. It's so accurate it's hardly any fun. ;);)

So nice to see this post come back around, and to see some more pictures of folks' Model 25s.

I logged onto the forum and was confused by all the likes in my "notifications," as I hadn't really posted anything in a while. I clicked, and there's my old post. Glad it came back around, and more people are putting up pictures of their 25s, they're awesome revolvers!

Haven't shot mine in a long time, since before my original post. I'll have to drag it out and shoot it. It's in beautiful condition, nice blueing, and has one of the smoothest actions/triggers of any of my Smiths. Also have the presentation case, manual, etc. Really love this gun.

Maybe we can make it an annual tradition to revisit this thread and have folks post their Model 25 pictures on Christmas..l

Happy New Year to you all.
