Model 25 question

The question is, what does it take to shoot .45 Auto Rim and/or .45 ACP out of a Model 25 chambered in .45 Long Colt that has a non recessed cylinder?

Is it practical to do so with the bore being slightly off?

I hear it can be done but how and who has the skill to do it?

the moon conversion will allow Colt, Skofield and ACP but not AR

If your 45 Colt M25 isn't cut for Moon Clips then neither will work. The ACPs will drop too far into the chambers (no shoulder to head space on) and the ARs are too thick for the cylinder to close. Sorry!
