Model 27 converted to .44 special

Great thread here.
Why would someone build a 44 Spl on a 27 when you can buy factory guns?
Well, a really good gunsmith can build you a better and more accurate revolver to your exact specs. You'll have a better quality piece than a mass produced S&W factory gun with maybe the exception of pre war guns.
You guys have posted some nice guns here and I really should not have read this thread. It has caused me to think about the extra 6 1/2 inch 44spl
pre 24 barrel that I have stashed in my vault. I think I could use a five inched, maybe in nickel with blued front sight with a gold bead.
Dang, you people are going to cost me money again.
 
That creation of keith44spl just makes me all giggly.
I think that's my dream .44 Spl.
