Model 28-2

Found a shooter grade 28-2 locally, has some holster wear but otherwise looks great. Shop is asking $600 for it. I really wish I could get it, I know it's not a RM or 27 but it's still an N frame 357, the original magnum. If anyone here is from NE Ohio and wants to know where to find it just let me know. I just got two 2 revolvers in the last couple months so I won't be getting anything else for the foreseeable future.

4 or 6", what grips and is it basic holster wear limited to high points, muzzle, etc?

The days of finding used, but good to excellent condition Model 28's for $400 or less are long gone. If it's mechanically sound, $600 sounds like a good price in 2025.

The price/value of 28's is creeping up. My 6" 28 no dash cost me $475, but that was 15 years ago. If I needed 1, would be all over it at that price as long as there no mechanical issues. Bob

If its just some edge wear then that's a bargain.
