Model 29 no dash comes in from Gunbroker

It is sure a beauty!!! I have had for the most part very good G.B. experiences. Got a 14-3 in August, that was VERY nice. Beyond my expectations. Enjoy that 29! (I do not have 1) Bob

Wow. Congratulations. I have no idea how much but that is a gorgeous firearm.

I wonder how many no dash Model 29's were made? I know that all N frames shared the same serial number sequence so there were 27's, 28's, 24's etc., in that serial number range too.

I have a 29 no dash #202200 that probably shipped in 1960 or so. It is my favorite hiking gun and every once in a while I just carry it around for my CCW. Mine has a considerable amount of wear, so I don't feel bad about holstering it. Since the cokes are now worth what I paid for the gun, I take them off when out and about with it.

There are current holster makers that will do suede lining, including Lobo. The most important thing in a holster is that it "fits" the gun so it doesn't shift inside the holster and rub.

Good Lord, chat is one fantastic looking firearm. I will sy this, they don't come nicer than that one. You paid a lot for it, but it is worth what you paid for it. I have always associated Smith & Wesson as the Cadillac or Rolls Royce of Firearms. Guns like this are why.

That is an exceptional example. There may be others out there that are as nice, but I'd venture to say that there isn't one nicer.
