Model 3000 Manual

Thank you. Just picked up the Model 3000. Beautiful shotgun!

Are there replacement barrels for the 3000? I saw one years and years ago with rifle sights but didn't pick it up then.

The shotgun looks like an 870. I guess it would be to much to hope 870 barrels would fit it, right?

Other than looks the 3000s aren't similar to 870s

How can I find out how old my Model 3000 is?

I have a Model 1500 Standard in 7mm Rem Mag. Looking at the Howa rifles I believe that the barrel twist is 1:9.5. Is that true for the S&W 1500?

A look at some 12 Ga. Trap wads

Here are some wads that I have used in 12 Ga. shotgun, trap loads.
Notice the difference in hights and volume, used with the different data in todays manuals.
I hope this will shed some light on what loading is all about.
