A friend of my just found two model 31-1 .32s&w revolvers that his grandfather had. One is a 4" blued model in great condition. The other is a 3" blued model that looks unfired and is still wrapped up in the original box. Can any tell me where to find out so more information on these two pistols for him or any idea what they my be worth.

Thanks for any help.

I just purchased a 31-1 with a 3" barrel from 1966 99.9% in the box with cleaning tools, paperwork, wax paper and the original receipt of purchase for $78.00, and I paid $450, I probally paid too much, but it's hard for me to pass up a NIB gun, and now I have a 32 cal! If you post a partial serial number using X's for the last couple numbers we can give you a year made.

These are nice little guns and because there is little demand for the .32 Long revolvers, prices are reasonable. I bought two different 31-1's for about $350 each here in California at 98%+. So I'd say $400-$425 is about right for NIB guns.

I picked up these two NIB 31-1 revolvers for $450 total. A guy was trying to sell them at the local gun show. None of the dealers were interested so I made an offer.
