Model 36 - Extra Numbers

The CS I just got, J203908, has the number "20869" stamped both on the left side of the frame near the bottom of the handle and on the cylinder, below the "MOD.36" stamp. Are these factory stamps?

Welcome! The extra numbers show the parts were initially fitted and brought back together after finishing, and are generically called "assembly numbers".
