Disaster has struck, the spur on the hammer of my 36 no dash Chief's Special is broken. I could grind it to make is smooth but I don't want a 'bobbed" hammer. Book says the hammer with hammer nose and rivet is part number 5283 and available for only 3.50 uninflated dollars.
Midway lists the hammer assembly as part number 039140000 and made of unobtanium. No luck at Brownell's, Numrich or Jack First, so here a'begging. Someone have one in their stash they would sell?
