Anyone ever experience a s&w revolver seizing up? I changed out the springs and have been over the gun several times but can't figure it out. It starts out fine shooting/dry firing away, but the more you squeeze the trigger it gets stiffer and stiffer until finally it takes two fingers to squeeze the trigger. The weirdest part is that if you leave it alone and let it sit for a couple days, it goes back to normal and the process starts all over again. Any ideas or is the gun demonically possessed

Have you checked to make sure the ejector rod (under the barrel, with the knurled end) is screwed in tightly? If not, you can clamp it with moderate pressure in a vise padded with wood and tighten it.

Thanks to those who have offered advice. I believe I have determined it to be the hand. The hand appears to be bent and is rubbingg on the frame when the action is worked. A new hand is on the way and I will go from there!
