Saw a nickel model 36 at a gun show today, no box or papers, in about 90% condition for $360. It's a pinned model in the J500,000 serial range. Is this a good price for a nickel variation these days? May go back & get it tomorrow, but wanted input before I do.
Also, are the nickelled 36's getting scarce, or are they still pretty common.

A local shop has 2 nickel M36s for sale. One is a snub nose with factory wood grips for $399. The other one has a longer barrel and rubber grips for $299. I got one a while back in excellent condition for $250 but you don't find those deals very often.
There's a lot of M36s out there, blue and nickel.

If it is nice in appearance at 90%, and there is no tax on top of that amount, and I needed it for a carry piece, I would be ok with $360. But I would still try to work them down. If they had it at $360 on the first day of the show and it's still there on the second day, they should be willing to work on the price a little.
