I recently purchased an unfired model 360 .38sp only. I am wondering if i can shoot +p rounds through it. It is not stamped anywhere on the pistol that is is rated +p. I have read some threads on here and mine does not have the "J" designation on the pistol or box. If anyone can help me i would be very thankful

First, is the serial number on the side under the cylinder release? Is there a hole in the butt of the gun? If so, it's a J. If not,....

If it's a J, It's good to go with +P as are all modern J frames.

Nice gun, the J. I had one for a while. Only sold it because I already had a 360PD (357) that is a carry favorite.

Yes the serial # is on the left side under the release and it does have the hole in the butt. I'll attach a couple pictures

All current production .38spl J frames are +P rated, including the 360J. In fact, it is built on the same frame as the M&P 360 .357mag.

I was looking at this same gun at my gunshop. One question is that front sight looks pinned...is that accurate? Can you change it out?

Yes, it is pinned and can be swapped out. I have a green fiber optic front sight on mine.
