I’m trying to buy a sear release lever for my model 39-2. The part # in the manual is 6103. When I search I find two different versions. One has a flat face and the other has an extension. Check pictures.
The lever is missing and the pistol is failing to eject. I’m not a gun smith but would the missing lever cause issues with the extractor removing the shell. I tested the spring strength of the extractor and it holds a round no problem. I’m thinking the missing lever allows some play in the tolerances of the other parts to cause issues.
I read there is something about the magazine extractor or something but I can’t remember. Hopefully you guys can assist a do it yourselfer. Looking forward to what you guys know and learning something new.
