adwjc made a very important point that I actually do all the time but failed to mention here. After each shooting session I do hold down the magazine follower and swab out the magazine with a wet patch of Rig#2 or Remoil. Once a year I do completely disassemble my magazines and thoroughly clean them. You would be surprised how much ctud gets into the magazines.

Chief38 mentions disassembling model 41 magazines, I have not figured out how to do that, any tips would be helpful.
