Does the aluminum & steel construction of the model 43 create any cleaning issues? Specifically the aluminum finish as usually soak my guns in Eds Red for a couple days.

I may be overly cautious, but I use a nylon bore brush to clean the chambers. A regular bronze bore brush is reserved for the bore only.
