Hi Tony,
I have had one for about six months. It is a great little gun. Mine works all the time and shoots to the sights.
I drag it to the local bowling pin matches every month and shoot it in the pocket auto class.
I do not CCW but I seldom leave the house with out it in the car. It is small, handy and reliable. They seem to have a very good reputation.
Hope this helps
Mike

I own a 457s and have found it to be as reliable as the full sized all steel 3rd gens. It is extremely accurate for a small pistol and will cloverleaf 3 to 5 shots at 12 yards. Awesome carry gun with 7 in the mag.

Sold mine about 3 months ago, because I needed the money! Great .45 for a carry gun. Took me a little while to get used to the short sight radius but after about 3 mags I was hitting where I aimed @ about 20 feet. I wish Smith still made a wide variety of the 3rd gen autos. Great auto pistols.

Great pistol. Reliable, accurate, light weight, good capacity for its size. whats not to like.

I like them real well when the asking does not exceed $425 to $450.

The last MSRP of $711 simply showed that S&W is extremely optimistic, if nothing else. Regards 18DAI.
