My 48-4 has hard extraction and also is hard to load the rounds after a few cylinders of firing. I can run a brush thru the cylinder and it will be fine for about 18 to 24 rounds.
I have read about running a finish reamer thru the cylinder to correct this ?
Where is the best place to get a reamer ? Any other tips appreciated.
FYI, ammo brands have little effect on the issue.

Have had the same problems in the past...before using a reamer you might try some FINE valve lapping compound or FINE diamond lapping/polishing compound used for polishing knives on a mop and drill.

I did some LIGHT polishing on my M 18 such as SuperMan described. It has worked wonders. When they are stuck, I am very careful to press on the extractor rod straight down to avoid the possibility of bending the thing.

Another vote for the thoughts above! Good idea AND I don't think reaming is a good idea UNLESS you're VERY careful - IMO. :)
