I have a friend who has a nice one, 6", with original box, unused tools, all the papers, and two sets of grips, ordered that way.

He is in California. I'm from Texas. I told him about this forum and said I bet I could find a buyer here for it. He doesn't want to go the GB route.

Pictures are forthcoming. I think it is about 99%.

Or is it WRM? Anyway, it is 1977 vintage. I was wondering if a price range of 1K-1.5K is out of line?

Might be an alright price for Kali, but it's $750-$800 around here. Oddly enough, the 8 3/8" bbl is slightly higher. Be patient. They ain't that rare. JMO,FWIW.

Well, I saw some on GB comparable to it that were even over $1.5K. This one was ordered by him. I have seen the gun. Beautiful finish, does have a slight turn line. Hope he gets the pics to me soon.

Fat Tom, if you have ever shot the 8 3/8" 48, the accuracy is worth the difference in price. I have shot 4 different ones, all tack drivers. :)

I am visiting the area where he is. Right now he is out of area, but I have handled the gun and was impressed by the package. I have enough guns, but wanted it!:(

What's cool about the gun is the fact that S&W brought out the gun for the caliber before Winchester did!

Got the Winchester yesterday and he sends me these pics today...

Looks like I'll have to take better pics before I put it in the classifieds.
