Trying to get some info on a Mod 586 ser#A13 S29xx

That's not the serial number. It will be seven digits (three letters followed by four numbers). It's located on the underside of the grip frame and you'll likely have to remove the grips to see it.

Or it will be on the frame under the barrel, hidden by the yoke. Stamped under the Model Number.

It’s probably ABS29xx. If so, it most likely shipped around May 1983.
