Where can I buy 14 round magazines for a S&W model 59? The 15 round with the plastic base do not work they don't feed right after the first round is fired. The magazine I have that works has a thin metal base.
The feed part of the magazines are different from each other, sorry can't think of what you call that part now.

If your 15rd is a S&W mag there shouldn't be any problem with it working in your gun. The 14rd medal base mags will only be found used at this time. The new and replacement followers are orange or the 59 series. If you haven't done so you might want to replace the recoil spring in it also.

I have had factory one s&w mag shipped with the spring upside down which caused the follower to get stuck inside the mag body.

My 59 works just fine with the newer factory mags. BTW, stay away from pro-mags. Factory or Mec-Gar are the way to go.
