Model 60 vs 60LS Springs?

Color me (cautiously) impressed...

If you check my original post, you'll see that I wasn't seeking to impress anyone. I was looking to resolve an issue regarding an apparent difference between models 60 and 60LS. I believe I got my answer, and I'm pleased with my outcome. Perhaps you shouldn't make judgments about another's knowledge and ability based on how many thousands of posts one has made on the forum. It comes across as a bit elitist.

No need for all that, my post was in earnest.

A lot of this comes down to whether or not your Model 60 will be used for plinking or for business. If the former, fine.

If the latter, there are several questions still unanswered, and a few red flags. If you're nonetheless satisfied, that's yours to keep.

But there are plenty of other folks who'll read this thread; some of them will be new or less experienced and may be inclined to follow your example and it's a disservice to them not to post the appropriate questions and considerations that ought to give pause and food for thought.

So, plinking or business?

This is all good info and I saw no disrespect or anything. I had another brand revolver that I decreased the springs' tensions and I went too light for the double-action ignition, intermittently, so I went one size heavier and all was well. I appreciate the thread and the questions asked. The gun of mine is now reliable and has a slightly easier DA pull, but not too easy. Thank you, OP and all responders.

I have found all of the Ladysmith's I have ever shot to have much better actions than the standard S&W version of the same model.
