Picked up this Model 610 at an auction yesterday to keep my LH 610-2 company. No box but it came with the unopened bag with cleaning rod, wipe and SAT. It's been shot a good bit but all seems tight and no signs of abuse. It came with the correct/original FG, RB combats but I had these Ahrends on the 610-2 and thought I'd give them a try.

I like them better than the factory stocks but with the longer barrel I believe a set of Ahrend square butt conversion combats might be in order. If anyon3 members have a photo of your 610 with after market wood please feel free to post them. I'd love to consider other options. Over all if I was any happier I'd be twins. Really, rally like this new smokepole.

Here's my 610-3 with smooth Ahrends

It currently wears a set of Herrett round to square target grips. Unfortunately I do not currently have a photo of them. I'll try to work on that and post one.

I have a couple of different sets of RB to SB that I run on my 610. I much prefer them over the RB. If I had to guess I would say they are Ahrends but don't quote me on that. Neiter set is marked except the lighter set has an "N" routered into the inside and marked with a number "41".

I'd love one myself. No losing expensive 10mm brass, and you can use plentiful .40 S&W brass for plinking fodder.

I'd really like a 4", but if I came upon one of any length, I doubt I'd be able to resist grabbing it.

Some beautiful 610s. Thanks for sharing. According to the SCS&W S&W made 4,560 combined in 5" and 6.5" versions. Anyone know how that number breaks down between the two barrel length? I'm thinking they probably produced more 6.5" then 5" but I can't justify that with any hard facts, just a gut feeling.
