The local gunshop got a Model 625 Model of 1988 Mountian in trade. It is in .45 LC. Pro's or Con's on it? I have a Colt Model P in .45 LC, so not sure if I really need it.

45 colt

i would not bother with it: get a 4" 44 mag : that will be the next step up. i had to make the same decision and and settled for a 629 4". glad i did it.

I owned a 29-2 4" over 20+ years ago. Was a fun toy. Bought the 625-6 today for $600. Since it is .45 LC, I do not have to buy different ammunition for it. Stocking ammo gets to be a problem.

I have two mountain guns, both in 45 Colt, a good bet if you reload. If you don't reload I would agree with the other poster and get the 44 mag.
