I just bought a 63-3 and did a search here and didn't find anything. No IL, 4" bbl., stainless. Good condition.

Any 63 fans or owners out there?

I PICKED ONE UP A MONTH OR TWO AGO,AS USUAL FOR ME IT IS TO MINT FOR ME TO SHOOT (FOR NOW ANYWAY),ITS A 63 NO DASH,P&R,BOX,TOOLS,PAPERS,ETC,,,PAID 475.00 OTD..ITS A BEAUTIFUL GUN,AND ONE I'LL NOT PART WITH,I DON'T THINK IT'S EVER BEEN FIRED.I FEEL LUCKY TO OWN IT.

sorry about the all capital letters,i'm asleep have the time i think........i would like to ad some tyler grips to my 63,that would help out the small grips

I bough one last year and though fun and accurate but I kept getting light hammer strikes. I had a master gunsmith change the springs and still the problem persisted. Hopefully yours won't have this problem. I did love the size and feel of the Model 63 but traded it for a Model 18 Combat Masterpiece which didn't exhibit the light strike problem.

I consider myself a Future Model 63 owner but current fan.
The model 63 is the stainless version of the model 34 if I am not mistaken.
Kinda like comparing the model 60 to the Model 36....

Seems to be more 4" square butts popping up lately than 2" round butt snubs but they came both ways.

AWESOME little J frame 22.

How about some pictures to drool on?

Funny...I was just considering trading my Model 18 for a model 63.....

Remember never to dry fire any revolver chambered for .22 Rimfire as the hammer pin will be driven with force against the cylinder face resulting in damage to both.

the 2' go for the bigger bucks, guess there more scarce, but would'nt think there easy shooters with the short barrel and all.does'nt make sense for a plinker to me.

Great little gun. I have two. Also a 34. They are a bit harder to get accuracy with compared to the K frame but that is a personal thing. You won't find a nicer .22 gun to carry on your person.

Only have one.

I had one briefly that was really nice but I just didn't get attached to it as it was too hard for me to shoot accurately. Looking back I wish I'd kept it :(

My 3rd one I have owned. I hope to keep this one but that old buy/sell/trade routine gets me every time.
Model 63 no dash

I'm a big fan of the Model 63. I currently own a 5" 63-4, but I've been searching for a 2-incher for quite a while. I keep passing on examples that I think are priced too high, yet each one I encounter is more expensive than the last. <sigh>

I haven't been without a .22/32 Kit Gun, a Model 34 or a Model 63 since 1978. Here is my latest Model 63 wearing grips by Fuzzy Furrant. What a great little handgun and very accurate. ........ Big Cholla

I've had mine near on to twenty years now. Pinned, box, tools, papers, etc. I traded a Model 34 even for it. I picked up a nice Safariland basketweave holster for it here on the S&S. I love to work on my double-action trigger control with it. That, and they are just such a fun plinker. You're on the right track with the Tyler t-grip idea. I have often said that j-frames and t-grips go together like peas and corn bread.;) The stainless gun with the chromed (nickeled?) t-grip makes an attractive little unit, too. As you might gather, it is about my favorite, and has been for a long time. As someone else said, it would probably be the last to go if it came to that.

Here is my 63. It came with factory target stocks, but they did not fit my hand & were replaced with these Hogues.
