Hey guys, trying to figure out what this is worth, stainless with Hogue grips, I'm pretty sure it's a police trade in, how would I tell?

Some LE guns are marked with department initials, some NYPD guns had serial numbers stamped in the side of the frame, and some have been converted to DAO. A decent, tight #64 would go for $250.00+ in my area.

I just got home from a show that had 3 of them on one table and they were rough. I didn't ask if they were LEO trades but they had lotsa scratches, no boxes and each was marked $310. Too high I thought.

Here is a link to one at a LGS in my area for $285+tax. I actually saw this one in person and its pretty doggy despite the pic on the website. Revolvers

This one doesn't really have any scratches, but I can tell there's some holster wear by where it says "Springfield, Mass" on the bottom of the receiver, some of the "Mass" is rubbed off. That's what I thought it was worth, didn't pay that much for it I don't think, it's a fine gun tho, shoots like a dream, smooth trigger, good ejector, fantastic firearm for the price.

I picked up one about a year ago for slightly less than $300, and stupidly sold to a forum member when I went through a Glock phase.

Haha that'll happen, I can't get over the action on the trigger... Very smooth, and I'm really not a wheelgun guy, this is the only revolver i've ever shot, but it's awesome, especially if it's a police trade in, I love the gun! Just tryin to find out what it's worth, which I have, thanks for all the advice guys!
