I found this at a gun show last week end. The finish appears to be bead blasted with a band around cylinder polished. The back strap was grooved , trigger was polished smooth and action very smooth. The grips are Ahrends.

Nice! I like the contrast between the matte finish and the high polished band on the cylinder. Ahrend grips are a good addition to any revolver.
Gives it a very interesting look.

Could be a Magnaport Custom gun. Looks similar to their work.. If the trigger is perfection, then that's one clue..

An update: I contacted Magna Port and they advised not their work.
I asked for a ship date and was advised August 2007 well after internal lock was introduced. Must have been in vault for a while.
