Model 66-1 with grooved trigger.

Regardless of the trigger, and folks have said it is correct anyways, that is a drop dead gorgeous 66. It is beautiful!

Flat out beautiful!

Love it!

My next S&W will be a pinned and recessed model 66.

Might wanna tighten up the forward tang screw on the rear sight on that 2.5" 66, MarcoV. :P

Interesting that there are those here who have a 66-2 that has a grooved trigger. I have a 66-2 that I bought brand new. Smooth trigger. Barrel is not pinned.

Transitions guns, left over parts -- all sorts of reasons. ;)

Here is the link with the revolver in question. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My four inch Model 66 was purchased new in 1973 and has the smooth trigger, stainless adjustible sights & a pinned barrel.

I'm not completely sure which engineering change my Dad's is, but his definitely has a serrated trigger. I THINK his is a -1 also. I'm having him double check. We'll see if he gets time to.
