What brand and model holster are you using to carry your 66-2?

Thanks,
Frank

What length barrel do you have? I have a 2.5" 66-1 which I use a Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake for. I don't really like IWB carry so I use it OWB.

I'm in and out of my vehicle a lot, going into various public buildings,so I opted for a paddle holster for easy on-and-off capability. It's by Andrew's Leather.

Started trying to make holsters for some that didn't have any, such as a 66-2 with a 3" barrel. Made this black one copying an old Safariland K frame 4" holster.

Then I found this great El Paso.

I use a Lobo Tom Threepersons with safety strap, made to accommodate my M66 with a 3.25" bbl and use it with my M65 3" as well.

Bianchi No. 5 BHL and Safariland M-29, lined in green elk, basketweave. These are black

Also an El Paso Austin model. Lined, basketweave, matching tan belt, really a golden color. It darkens with use in the sun.

Have used a Bianchi Shadow to carry concealed, and once had a Roy Baker Pancake model.

These were all hand selected and were deliberately sought out, to meet my tastes. You can be different, but probably not better.

You might also look at the Bianchi Model 111, which can be used crossdraw when carrying a rifle, and which offers the gun excellent coverage. I'm thnking of getting one when the money is adequate. Good leather holsters cost some bucks, but are worth it, I think.

66 no dash 2.5. Don Hume JIT. I have this holster for several different guns. Well made, inexpensive, and carries well.
