Hello all. I am new to this site and I am in need of help. I have a S&W model 66 that I have owned for almost 20 years. It is the Model 66 no dashes, Stainless, 4" pinned barrel. My last few trips to the range I have noticed the revolver was getting harder to open but was fine after cleaning.
But this last trip it got hard to open with each reload. I stopped using it when it was just too hard to open.

After I got home and cleaned it, I found that the funnel of the barrel had cracked about 1/4 of an inch and the revolver arm was hitting it. So now I am looking to replace the barrel and have tried many gun parts stores online but no luck. Does any have any other ideas, or know where I might be able to find a replacement barrel

That is a cracked forcing cone and wondering if you have been shooting 110 - 125 grain loads? Just start watching for a barrel and hopefully one will turn up here or one of the auction sites.

This barrel is no longer produced. Some of the larger parts companies (Jack First, Numrich, Poppert's) may have one, sometimes.

If you are able to post what ammo (bullet weight in particular) and how many rounds you know have been put through it, plus photos, it would be educational for Forum members. Hope this is helpful.

You may want to check out your local gun show. Many times there will be a "parts guy" that will have them.

Welcome to the forum.

You never had problems with it before now?

Can you post pictures of it? 1/4" is pretty large (4-1/16", 1/2 of 1/2 an inch)!
I can't see how just cleaning it could have corrected the previous problems you had.

Posting pictures is a great idea. Also, post in the "Wanted" section for a barrel, and keep an eye on the Accessories For Sale section. It's pretty amazing what you can find here!

And some pictures if you would please...
