Boxes shown are 1966-1985 Bangor Punta era. Three are “marked” boxes, two are “plain.” The plain boxes were most commonly used by the factory to hold N-frame revolvers when shipped inside a larger carton also containing an empty mahogany presentation case. These plain blue boxes are identical in every respect to the marked S&W blue box, except for the absence of the markings themselves. All boxes listed here come with the cleaning tools shown in the photographs (S&W looped rod and screwdriver, with bore brush, and mop).
SOLD B1 (marked) This box has the broken////silver line around the border of the box top. The box dimensions are 14” x 5-1/4” x 2”. This is the correct box for an N-frame revolver with a 6” or 6-1/2” barrel and target stocks. This box is in excellent used condition, all corners are sound, includes correct .357 caliber cleaning tools for this barrel length and S&W’s gun wrap paper. This box is in excellent used condition, all corners are sound, includes correct .357 caliber cleaning tools for this barrel length, Model 66 Instruction Manual, and S&W’s gun wrap paper.
