This week I got a text message from a friend (the Commander of our Sons of the American Legion squadron) asking if he could trade for 12 Golden Dollars to be part of a birthday present. I told him certainly I'd trade with him. I just happened to have a roll of new in the wrapper Golden Dollars so since they were to be for a birthday present I pulled out the 12 Golden Dollars my friend wanted from that coin roll. I met my friend last night and he showed me what was going on. He had a picture of paper currency fanned out in a circle to make the Money Pizza and the Golden Dollars I provided would represent the pepperoni! Pretty clever I thought.

I did kind of the same thing with my grandson about a year ago. He was into buried pirate treasure so I got a roll of 20 gold dollars and a cheap treasure box from Hobby Lobby. Buried it next to the big pecan tree that he was diggin worms around and waited. He went out to dig for worms and found the pirate treasure.!!! He still has it sitting on his dresser
