does the bad emmr really have less wiggle than others like the odin works xmr?

Odin XMR works pretty well, I have had 1 for over a year and cant fault it, so much so that I am carrying a spare for my AR15 when it arrives in the new year, along with other goodies such as KNS pins and the usual add ons.

Im thinking with what I have in the box waiting, the AR should match up pretty close to the Smith or vise versa depending on your order of ownership. :D:D

nice, then congrats on the incoming new ar!

so the largest difference between these 2 is that the odin has 2 set screws vs 1 countersunk set screw. a few reviewers on the odin point point out the 2 set screws as a negative feature. do you ever notice this?

Can't say as I can physically feel a difference that there are 2 screws in the pad to hold in place, though I have not tried one with only 1 screw in. :D

To my mind, there will always be a little "play" given that you are extending out and down from an inset button (OEM) to an external pad with several small parts, therefore there will always be some small differences in fit tolerance resulting in some movement "play" in the feel of the finished product.

This is no way makes any noticeable difference to function.

I am running a Gen 1 Odin there is also some Gen 2s with go faster slots in them, however these don't run with KNS Pins fitted, hence my spare also being Gen 1. The Gen 2s are pretty cool but as I like the KNS Pins they are no good for me.

The Odins are also available in a multitude of colours though Black seems to be always out of stock. :D

Hope that helps in some small way to whoever is thinking of a way to jump, there is also a Tacticool version and for UK purchase there are a couple of places that stock Odins, however I wont get in to naming companies for fear of being jumped on...

I also run with a BAD Ambi Safety which I think is one of the Most useful add ons / swap outs that I have made along with the NDZ SBR and the Odin XMR.

That is my 2 pennies worth FWIW.. would say Cents but as I'm a Brit just wouldn't be right

thanks for all the feedback, i just installed the kns gen2 mod2 the week my 1522 came in. i found this thread and saw that i am running the same pins which means not gtg for me neither. http://smith-wessonforum.com/smith-wesson-m-p-15-22/422224-kns-xmr-gen-2-compatability.html

i was thinking the mod2 was the lowest and thinnest profile but guess not. i did find a pic of the bad emmr clearing the kns mod2 pins

Is this the picture that you are talking about?? Looks like it might rub a bit but it could be just the angle of the picture..

Nice trigger!
Not a 15-22, correct.
Ours has a ridge around the mag release button.
The angled extended mag release (might) not work.

that's EXACTLY the one i saw earlier but like you and airwolf mentioned, it's still extremely close to the hammer pin.

i dont mind ordering to try it out but most of the shipping costs are insane $8-10 for this piece... i dont think im going to go for a trigger on my gun. mine is a low budget type of build, if any :P

Here you can see the clearance with KNS Gen 2 mod 2 and Odin XMR Gen 1.

Hope that helps. :)

Well, the XMR 2 doesn't work with the KNS pins for sure, been there done that..

Might be interested in getting the EMMR if it's confirmed ok with the KNS pins. ;)

Hi Rob, Keith and all other UK owners,

I have just had a response from Roger at rimfire magic, who said that he will happily order some the new VQ 15-22 extractors, when he puts in his next order with VQ.
https://www.volquartsen.com/products/1208-exact-edge-extractor-for-sw-mp-15-22-

So give me a heads up you guys if you are interested and when i get the email from him telling me he has them in i shall let you know, (i mentioned that i know of two guys who would probably want a replacement or spare.)
:)

Keep me posted though. I will likely grab one if they arrive.

Happy Christmas to you guys.
