nice, then congrats on the incoming new ar!
so the largest difference between these 2 is that the odin has 2 set screws vs 1 countersunk set screw. a few reviewers on the odin point point out the 2 set screws as a negative feature. do you ever notice this?
Can't say as I can physically feel a difference that there are 2 screws in the pad to hold in place, though I have not tried one with only 1 screw in.
To my mind, there will always be a little "play" given that you are extending out and down from an inset button (OEM) to an external pad with several small parts, therefore there will always be some small differences in fit tolerance resulting in some movement "play" in the feel of the finished product.
This is no way makes any noticeable difference to function.
I am running a Gen 1 Odin there is also some Gen 2s with go faster slots in them, however these don't run with KNS Pins fitted, hence my spare also being Gen 1. The Gen 2s are pretty cool but as I like the KNS Pins they are no good for me.
The Odins are also available in a multitude of colours though Black seems to be always out of stock.
Hope that helps in some small way to whoever is thinking of a way to jump, there is also a Tacticool version and for UK purchase there are a couple of places that stock Odins, however I wont get in to naming companies for fear of being jumped on...
I also run with a BAD Ambi Safety which I think is one of the Most useful add ons / swap outs that I have made along with the NDZ SBR and the Odin XMR.
That is my 2 pennies worth FWIW.. would say Cents but as I'm a Brit just wouldn't be right
