While at the range last night I picked up some cheap (price) ammo.Usually me and 5 gun range friends split the cost of 1K rounds.
The ammo is PMC Bronze, made in Republic of Korea.I bought 2 boxes of .40 cal 165 gr FMJ @ $9.00 a box and 4 boxes of 9mm 165 gr FMJ @ $6.50 a box.The sign read that it was being discontinued so they were selling it cheap.I shot a box thru my P85 and P89 with no problems at all.

That's a damn good price. Do they still have it in stock? Please tell me you live in the Pensacola area because I'll drive over and buy a bunch.

Sorry Garpo,I live in the Tampa Bay area. They had a table with a sign on it reading "Discontinued Ammo" and it was selling fast.I'm sure it's sold out by now.
BTW,i'de never heard of PMC until last night.

That's too bad for me. Oh well, I'm going to a gun show this weekend so I'll keep an eye out for it there.

I've used PMC .223 in my WASR-3 and for me it functions just fine.

I love PMC ammo. Have shot .38 spl, .357 Mag, and .40 S&W. It all shoots great and the brass is great for reloads, it seems to be thicker than others which I like!

I've been buying and shooting PMC ammo for years, it's always been good stuff. "Precision Made Cartridges" Funny though, I never really read the box to see where it was made. I actually have about 10 boxes of PMC right now in various calibers. It's still available where I live in my local gun stores. Walmart even carries the PMC in .223 for a pretty good price. The gun stores however charge about the regular price for the pistol ammo. You got a heck of a deal.

Buy PMC at the local gun show fairly cheap. .38 spl was $15.00 for 50 rounds. That is fairly cheap and as said before I love the brass for reloading!
