It's good to see so many people carrying. I just hope the article isn't true about more violence from people using their gun just because it's there. I wished their was a federal permit that would allow carry in all states but that's wishful thinking.

Down here by the U.S./Mexican border, Obama & the Democrats have nothing to do with more CC permits and arming themselves.

The last time I was there I was watching the news and they were saying the mexican maffia put out a list of people to be assinated and a lot were already dead. Do you know what ever happened with that situation? I know they said some american lawmen were also on the list.

To be honest, there have been so many assassinations in Juarez it's hard to keep up...One was an informant for the U.S. govt for sure, but they keep much of the details hush-hush. The latest death count was reflected in the newspaper: "Juarez has replaced Baghdad" for killings.. The broadcast always ends this way: "No arrests". It's kind of like the "Wild-West"; no forensics, nobody cares, and the corruption is so deep everyone is afraid. Up to 2,000 so far this year and still counting...A few killings are spilling over into El Paso, but the local's are downplaying it.
If a person isn't carrying in this area, a real-life "Russian Roulette" scenario is waiting to happen.

I can say that you don't want a Federal permit. If we allow the Federal government to take over this jurisdiction, they can eliminate our ability to carry in one full swoop.
Any laws governing our rights to carry needs to stay with the States.
