Old Tex Mex's thread on his Osage Orange grips by John got me to thinking, and cost me some $ but it sure was well spent.

Needed a set of round butt K frames and John produced these beautiful grips.

Thank you to both John and Jennifer Culina for being great people to do business with and for producing quality products at reasonable prices.

rangemaster it is a model 10-10, a special run for a law enforcement agency in Brazil.Apparently not very many examples made it out to the market here in the U. S. Too bad because it is a great design.

The man is an artist, what can you say?

I have some N-frame smooth Cokes from him in the same orange wood... they take my otherwise plain-jane 629-1 to the next level:

And I just bought a 1972 Class A Engraved Model 19-2. It didn't have the original grips, but after a few emails and a few weeks, the Kulinas delivered these K-round magnas. The photos do not even come close to doing this second pair justice:

I wanted a pair of his smooth, dark rosewood N frame target stocks and got these Cocobolos which are perfect. I don't know if this wood is a type of rosewood, but it's exactly what I had in mind. There is pretty grain if you look close, though I wasn't looking for that so much as just a very dark wood. They fit my hand perfectly. Here they are on a 4" 29-2.

In sixty years people on gun forums will post pictures asking about these great grips they have and who made them. Some real old timer will say he thinks it was this guy named "Karnac" or "Karma" and then people will search it out and discover "KURAC"! And then see that they go for around $500 now, or then, I mean.
