Those Winchester 64's are fine looking rifles. I have a Buffalo Bill Commemorative Rifle and a Golden Spike Commemorative Carbine that were given to me by my parents and an uncle when I was a teenager. I never plan to sell them so I shoot them and they aren't that valuble beyond a regular 1894 from that time period. I particularly like the looks and feel of the BB rifle with it's twenty six inch octagonal barrel.
There are too many beautiful rifles to name. Some are beautiful because of their rich wood and embellishments...Some because of their precision and accuracy...Some due to their historical role. I think it's like chosing the most photogenic beautiful woman...They all have their appeal and beauty.
I was at my club range today. There were several younger fellows on each side of my table shooting some pretty fancy AR 15 types. They were all interesting and I own one myself...Nevertheless, the most beautiful rife on that line to me was my old 1943 Springfield Armory M1 Garand. The design, functioning and history make it beautiful to me. Just thumbing in a clip of eight of those big, pointed cartridges and slapping the bolt forward to chamber the first round and the satisfying ping of the empty clip being spit out is music to my ears...That old rifle with the worn metal and banged up stock is the most photogenic to me.
