Most repeated threads

"What are the differences between .223 and 5.56?"

And if that isn't bad enough, then we have the oft-repeated responses: "They're essentially the same." What a non-answer....and it happens so frequently! Along with things like "Studies have shown 5.56 can be fired in some .223 chambers." and "My dad says the difference is a bunch of horse hockey and they're interchangeable."

And then we have the related cousins to the above question:
"Can I shoot .223 in a 5.56?"
"Can I shoot 5.56 in a .223?"
"Is my M&P 15 .223 or 5.56?" (<--- "How about picking up the gun you own and actually looking at it before you post? It's stamped right on the barrel.")

"I have a Smith and Wesson model ctg 38, serial number 12345 where the cylinder opens up. What is it, how much is it worth and what is its complete history?" Typically the only post the originator ever makes, even after a dozen responses asking for pics and more info and sometimes even providing useful information.

The 3 biggies, just like any self-respecting gun forum....booze, women and song.:o

I enjoy a glass of Stout or Porter every few days

I couldn't care less about music

Now that 3rd item....I plead the 5th

Snake threads. They always include protectionists arguing with those who don't want to be bitten by even a garter snake.

Can I shoot Plus P in my .38? (Already mentioned.)

What 's this worth? (Already mentioned, too.)

How'd I do? (Pricewise.)

How can I clean a nickel plated gun?

And this one's ^^^^^^ little sister:

"Should my first press be a progessive or single stage press?"

Well by now everyone should know that no matter how much money you don't have and no matter if you only need 100 rounds a year you MUST get a Dillon 650!

Also to have "surgically" clean brass *and clean primer pockets you MUST have a wet tumbler with SS pins and then have a brass drier.

Most of the ones that really fry my ham have already been mentioned.

But then there's always..."What's the best position for concealed carry? Appendix carry or 4 o'clock? IWB or OWB?"

Also, "I'm gonna buy the little woman a gun for concealed carry. What should I buy her?"

And the infamous..."I bought this old revolver that was made in Kiribati during their second major uprising. It's made out of recycled old garbage can lids and is chambered for .32 rimfire short. Did I get a good deal?...and can I shoot .32 autos through it?"
