The MGs are great guns, but a little more umph for brown bear country - or just because some of us like a gun that fights back - would be a great addition. And with the 454 it can be used as a plinker in 45 Colt.
The 629MG with 300-grain loads doesn't "fight back" enough?
But I do understand the desire for a bit more power - something short of the 4-inch X-frames. For many years I have harped that S&W missed the boat with the X-frame. They should have brought out a "beefier, slightly-bigger-N-frame" capable of handling a true .45-caliber magnum, like the .454 - with six rounds, capable of actually being carried on the belt. But I wouldn't want one with a short, tapered barrel. That thing would be murder!
