The only thing cooler than Mountain Guns are Mountain Guns with Spegel
grips. Next coolest things are S&W's with Spegel grips. Here are mine. Let's

These Craig Spegel boot grips even makes this Colt's Agent look good.
I also have this model 67 no dash with Spegel designed Uncle
Mikes Butler Creek rubber combat grips.
And of course my little 642-1 came with the Spegel Uncle Mike's
boot grips.

When I started carrying this 640-1 I took these Macassar Ebony stocks off and replaced them with the rubber Uncle Mike's … didn't want to risk dents and dings!

All right, I'll play. I'll spare you the Uncle Mikes rubber Spegel's.

Here is my 625-3 with the 3" barrel and ebony Spegel's

And here is a 5" Model 29-5 Classic with cocobolo Spegel's

And lastly a 696 with purpleheart stocks

This is like that game where you pick the picture that doesn't belong. The back story is that I am on Craig's 3 year long list, but I get impatient, so the last picture, of the 696, is the outlier. Those stocks are by our own Curt Harlow done in the Spegel idiom, modeled after the rubber Uncle Mike's.

I do have two Mountain Guns - a Model 25-13 and a Model 29-8 Talo, but they are wearing S&W RB Combats on the 25-13 and the "Mountain" Altamonts that it came with, on the 29-8.
