Movies you like but are embarassed to admit

Team America: World Police was a lotta fun, Barb!

I can't think of any movie I've enjoyed that I am embarassed about... I even liked the original Conan movie, and still recommend it.

Pulp Fiction...
That was the first one that jumped into my mind. It's trashy, but I can't quit watching it.

The dialogue between Jules and Vincent while they clean out the car at Jimmy's house... well, it defies description!

On a more family-oriented note, does anybody know the name of the Disney movie about the two dogs and a cat that get lost hundreds of miles from home? I'm not crying at the end of that one, it's just that the pollen gets so bad here... yeah, that's it...

{Edited to add - movie title is Homeward Bound - The Incredible Journey}

Pretty much all of Quentin Tarentino's movies. Some of the Zombie movies can be pretty funny. "Dawn of the Dead" has some hilarious scenes in it.

And I do have to admit to being a fan of the "Saw" flicks. When my daughter comes over to visit we put in one the Saw episodes (there's five of them now) cook up some popcorn and we're good to go.

OK, it's "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (see profile pic). Great acting from Gene Wilder and the dialogue is better than most films out there. Just too much truth to ignore. Second runner-up, "The Princess Bride" for many of the same reasons.

I like it for the guns, the "Front rank, Fire!" etc. And Michael Caine is such a twit in it.

Bob

YES! Not to mention Richard Burton's narration.

Besides, I have a Martini-Henry and I like to see them in action. See The Man Who Would be King for more Martinis (also a Michael Caine film).

Anne of Green Gables
Shrek
These two really fire me up. I try to watch both every week. I used to like John Wayne and action movies, but now chick flicks are my favorite.

The last five minutes - those "slacks" spray-painted onto Olivia Newton-John. Not Salma Hayek doing a snake dance in a bikini, but it works.

Boondock Saints, despite some pretty silly shooting scenes I found it amazingly enjoyable. It seems to have been something of a cult film at colleges a few years ago. I guess the men in some of those boys rebelled against the leftist, preaching by the establishment?

Where ya going? No Where!!!

Lee, ain't nuthin wrong with Shrek! Of course, I have a young daughter to watch it with, so I kind of have an excuse!

Grease, OTOH....

I read the posts slowly hoping I wouldn't see Miami Vice the movie. Gosh that stank.
