Man! Is North Carolina a great basketball team, or what! I was so proud of my Spartans, even with their terrible first five minutes of the championship game. They fought an uphill battle and almost did it! The city of Detroit did a wonderful job putting on the show. My 35 year-old son called me Sunday and raved about how wonderful it was in the downtown area for Saturday's MSU defeat of Uconn. Masses of smiling people celebrated with class in and around the resurants and watering holes downtown. And how great is it that the one time the semi's and final game is played in Detroit that MSU made it to the finals? This was a breath of fresh air in a great, beautiful state that is presently experiencing some very hard times.

Sir, I completely agree with most of your post, but even I choked on that line.
Let's just say that both teams showed a lot of class and clearly the best team won.
