I've been buying, and selling and/or trading (some) for close to 35 years now.. always in search of ...... something better...... many I now regret letting go....... but rarely have I lost money when compared to inflation......
On some; the current value is 3-4-5 times what I paid on pretty run of the mill Smiths in the 80-90s.........sold one this year for 4X what I paid for it just 2 years ago......even have one a RM worth 15-20X what I bought it for in this century........
All that said I'm not saying guns are a "good" investment tool to replace your 401K... but if you buy well and take good care of "your investments" you in all likelihood won't lose any money and have a lot of fun in the process.
Sure a better deal than the 3 nice film cameras from the 80-90s and a bunch of lens we have in a closet somewhere.....LOL
