Music You Enjoy

My cousin is a fine Bass player.
Still active.
Principle with many orchestras/opera companies.
Even studied with Eddie Gomez.
Fine rock n roll accordion player when we started playing
"Christmas in July" parties at children's hospitals when we
were 15.
Donated our $$$$ to buy the kids more toys.
Rossini's duet for cello and bass is one of his favorites.
Not him on these videos.
Plus a couple of young kids that practice.
My sight reading in the Bass Clef is pitiful but kinda okay
in the Treble Clef as I play flutes and single reeds. :D

We are lucky to have a 100 seat blues pub 15 minutes from our house. It is in the small town of Lima, NY (at the crossroad of Route 15A and Rts 5/20). Touring "A name" blues players have started to ask to play there because the vibe is that good and the word is out. They include; Anna Popovic, Coco Montoya, Davy Knowles, Ronnie (and Wayne) Baker Brooks, Pat Travers, Taz Cru, Tinsley Ellis, Mike Zito, Albert Castiglia, Tony Holiday, Jason Ricci, Duke Robillard, Kim Wilson, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, John Nemath, Johnny Rawls, Chris Cain, King Soloman Hicks, Popa Chubby, Vanessa Collier, Wishbone Ash, Nighthawks, Joanne Connor, James Armstrong, Early Times, Brandon Santini, Shemekia Copeland, Victor Wainwright, Watermelon Slim, Paul Nelson, Curtis Salgato, Lil Ed and the list goes on and on with Grammy and Blues award winners.
If you are wondering what music my wife and I are listening to, just look to see who's playing at "Fanatics Pub". We will most likely be sitting at table # 4. Live music is alive and well.
