Most here aren't likely to recognize the name "Henry Gross" but will likely recall the mid 70's pop hit "Shannon."
I'm not knocking Shannon. It's a perfectly good example of 70's pop that does showcase Henry's vocal talent, it just ain't got a thing in common with what led me to be a fan before he went where the quick cash was.
Those who are fans will know as a member of Sha Na Na he was one of the youngest performers at Woodstock.
