Thanks. When I decided that a music career was the life for me I immersed myself in anything and everything I could listen to and learn from. From songs to gear when a musical opportunity door opened, no matter what genre or style, I wanted to be prepared.

I spend time searching for new talent and new material. I am continually stunned by how thousands of young people have taken what their predecessors have given them and then expand upon it.

I believe that is the same approach my son Matt took. He had a budding career in Country music, but he listened to everything from classic rock (my genre) to classic Country & Western, to Modern Country, to 1950's Tony Bennett & Frank Sinatra.

I think the two of you would have got along splendidly. :D
