I love Oscar Peterson's music. For years there was a Canadian radio website that I always listened to that played nothing but his recordings. Sadly, it went off the air some time back. The video Rusty posted above was from the Montreal Jazz Festival in 2004. It may have been Oscar's last public performance. He had suffered a stroke that partially paralyzed his left arm. If you notice on the keyboard closeups, he has limited use of his left hand, and is essentially playing with right hand only. Oscar Peterson with one hand is still superb. Below is his version of Satin Doll from the same concert. Afterwards, the audience, realizing what they've just witnessed, goes nuts.
