Muzzle device

Hello All,

I am stuck and in need of help. I wish to change the muzzle device on my AK-47 pistol. Most .30 cal devices say they are 5/8 x 24 threads but the specs from the company who make the gun (palmetto) say M24 x 1.5. I tried to research it and I am more confused than when I started. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance. By the way, here is what I would like. .30 Cal. Slant Muzzle Brake

I would look at JMAC offerings. Expect to pay big money, as quality doesn’t come cheap.

M14x1 left hand is the normal for most AK's.

What model AK pistol do you have? I think your best bet is to contact palmetto and confirm the thread spec and go from there.

As far as I know, M24 x 1.5 is the spec for an AK-74 muzzle device.

BTW, 5/8 x 24 is for .308s. AKs are different, obviously.
