I love pure guns but that is the sweetest switcharound I have seen in awhile.
Kudos for keeping it traditional.

I won't lie.
I was scared for a minute.
I had visions of Duracoat in crazy colors, holes drilled near the muzzle, strangely colored laminate grips over a round butt, jeweling or engine turning everywhere, and other such atrocities...
I'm glad I was wrong!!!![]()
At the factory, it got a MIMCylinder Stop, and a new Oversized Hand.
So now my AAA No-dash has MIM, a new style barrel, and a re-blue (the horror!).
Only problem is now, she's almost too pretty to shoot... Almost.
Did you go standard blue or high blue? And what did replacing the cylinder stop repair?
I must have missed something. what not just buy a 4in with a red ramp in the first place. would have to be less money than going the route you did. that tall patridge sight that was on it are great for 100yd shooting.
Spending to(o) much money on a gun is fun!
... I've been collecting no-dash L frames for some years and a AAA 586 with a patridge sight is the only one I'd still like to find...
Which does raise the obvious question: Did you have the old barrel returned? A good frame wrench and you could have a swap barrel 586...(Not recommended to be done often, but it would be kinda cool.)
