Wondering what you guys think of my 637 wearing classic wood grips? I got them because I loved the way the old chief specials looked they where just classy and I am huge fan of wood grips on my guns. I also figured they might handle better then the boot grips Smith and Wesson includes now. I was not disappointed at all the gun shoots so much better with the classic grips. In fact there is less felt recoil with the new grips so very happy camper.

When using standard pressure loads (like the Nyclads you have pictured), I used magnas. I like the way they handle and the way they look.

p.s. I like the knife. I have the Gerber twin of that one that is my every day working knife.

looks good. i've been thinking of going more old school with my 637 also, maybe with a t-grip.

The M637 looks great. There is just something about have wood stocks on a handgun. With magna's I have to use a BK grip or Tyler-T to make it more comfortable for me.

Adding a BK with the upper and lower tabs makes any magna easier to grasp in the hand.
