Thanks for the comments. I've had it for a number of years but just got around to joining in the conversation and posting some pics. It is a great range gun. The combination of the weight and the already easy recoil of the round make it powder puff to shoot.

Very Nice 639.
I recently picked up its blued twin Model 539 (left).
A bit heavier than the aluminum lower models but very robust.
